Benue state government under the Governor Samuel Ortom led
administration has placed 11 Benue companies up for sale to interested
investors.
The 11 eleven companies include;
Benue Links
Makurdi Modern Market
Taraku Mills
Mega Foods
Benfruit Wannune Mango/Tomato plant
Benkims Plastic
Katsina Ala Yam Flour
ADC
Fertilizer Blending Plant
Otukpo Burnt Bricks
Benco Roof Tiles
This is coming on the heels of government's inability to pay workers
salaries for the past two years despite collecting Paris Club refund and
Bailout from the Federal Government.
Reacting to the news, Benue people took to social media to express their dissapointment to the news.
See some reaction:
As PMB approves $1bn for campaigns, Governor Ortom puts up all our
companies for sale. There's no end to this APC madness. Anyone who buys
any of these companies must take precaution. We will revoke it
inevitably. RIP Aper Aku. Your legacies live on.

Let nobody fool you. Government can do business, very well and
effectively and efficiently too. We employ the thieving ones to manage
them, that's why they don't succeed. We will resist the erosion of the
legacies of Aper Aku.

You were not this hasty in fixing Benue State for over 3 years. Why the
haste now? Leave the legacies of Aper Aku alone @GovSamuelOrtom
